We are seeking a reliable, practical and hands-on Casual Maintenance Team Member / Painter to join our team.

The primary focus of this role will be undertaking external cosmetic repairs and painting of our units and buildings, while also assisting with general maintenance tasks as required.

This role would suit someone who takes pride in their workmanship, has an eye for detail and enjoys a diverse, hands-on role.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

- External painting of units, buildings and other areas as required

- Preparing surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, patching and minor repairs

- Completing cosmetic repairs to external walls, doors, trims and other surfaces

- Touching up and maintaining existing paintwork

- Completing general maintenance tasks as required

- Assisting with minor repairs and upkeep around the facility

- Using hand and power tools safely and appropriately

- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues

- Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment

- Working safely around residents, staff and visitors

- Assisting with other maintenance duties as directed

About You

We are looking for someone who:





- Has experience in painting, maintenance, handyman work or a similar role

- Has good practical and problem-solving skills

- Takes pride in the quality and presentation of their work

- Has good attention to detail

- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently

- Is comfortable working outdoors

- Is confident using basic hand and power tools

- Can complete tasks safely and to a high standard

- Is respectful and considerate when working in an environment with residents

Trade qualifications or previous experience in painting, property maintenance or a related field will be highly regarded.
