In this role, you’ll provide person-centred, high-quality support to help our client maintain their independence, dignity, confidence and quality of life. You’ll support them to achieve the goals that matter most, while respecting their choices, routines, preferences and abilities.

What you'll be doing

- Support independence, confidence and everyday life skills, empowering the person to live life on their own terms.
- Create meaningful opportunities through community participation, daily routines and personal goals.
- Provide personalised support that promotes choice, dignity, inclusion and genuine connection.
- Support complex behaviours and personal care needs with patience, professionalism and respect.
- Assist with manual handling, dysphagia support and medication in line with individual support plans and training.
- Build trusted relationships with the person you support, their family and your wider team.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge, celebrate progress and achieve positive outcomes.

You're the Right Person If...

- You have experience supporting people with disability, particularly in high-care, SIL, supported accommodation or community settings.
- You’re confident assisting with personal care, manual handling, dysphagia and medication.
- Experience supporting people living with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) and complex behaviours is highly regarded.
- You’re confident supporting people with complex needs and can remain calm, patient and professional when situations change.
- You communicate with empathy,



professionalism and respect, and enjoy building strong relationships.
- You work well as part of a team while also being confident taking initiative and making sound decisions independently.
- You’re passionate about supporting people to maintain independence, choice, dignity and a meaningful life.
- You hold a valid unrestricted driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
- You hold an NDIS Worker Screening Check, or are willing to obtain one prior to commencement.
- You’re available to work across a full shift pattern, including mornings, evenings and sleepovers.
