About the Role:
PLC Sydney is seeking an exceptional, energetic, and collaborative History Teacher to join our high-performing team on a full-time basis.
Working with motivated and highly engaged students, you will deliver rigorous Cambridge International History programs alongside mandatory NESA History courses. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring historical inquiry to life in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Cambridge IGCSE History.
- Deliver the revised Cambridge International AS & A Level History syllabus.
- Plan and teach NESA mandatory History courses across Stage 4 and /or Stage 5.
- Design engaging, high-quality learning materials and assessments that stretch and support diverse learners.
- Collaborate actively with departmental colleagues to foster academic excellence and share best practices.
Selection Criteria:
- Formal secondary teaching qualifications in history and current NESA registration,
- Demonstrated experience and expertise in delivering Cambridge International History (IGCSE and/or A-Level) with high-level pedagogical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of creating an inclusive, high-performing classroom environment.
You will be required to support the Christian ethos of the College.
