About the role…

In this leadership position, you will oversee the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred services for children, young people, and families across multiple sites. You will ensure customer plans are current and aligned to individual goals, embed trauma‑informed and evidence‑based practice, and design programs that strengthen wellbeing and resilience. Your role includes managing caseload distribution, providing operational oversight, coordinating school holiday programs, and ensuring compliance with quality, safety, and legislative requirements. You will also lead and mentor teams, build strong community partnerships, manage budgets and performance targets, and contribute to continuous improvement, reporting, and funding submissions.

Key responsibilities include:

- Service leadership — Oversee high‑quality, person‑centred services across multiple sites.
- Program and practice quality — Embed trauma‑informed, evidence‑based practice and ensure customer plans are current and goal‑aligned.
- Operational management — Manage caseloads, site operations,



and school holiday program coordination.
- Team leadership — Lead, mentor, and support staff across remote and hybrid teams.
- Stakeholder and community engagement — Build strong partnerships with families, youth services, and interagency networks.
- Performance, compliance, and improvement — Manage budgets and targets, ensure safety and compliance, and contribute to reporting and continuous improvement.

About you…

You are an experienced leader who brings a strengths‑based approach to working with children, young people, and families. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy supporting teams to deliver exceptional outcomes, and are confident managing operations across multiple sites. You communicate with clarity, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and bring a culturally responsive mindset to your work. You are committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred services and have the capability to balance strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership when required.

Skills & Experience

- Diploma in Human Services or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strengths‑based practice experience with children and families.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and supervise teams, including remote/hybrid staff.
- Experience supporting children and young people with mental health challenges.
- Strong capability in coaching teams to meet KPIs and service outcomes.
- Ability to analyse workforce/performance data and turn insights into action.
- Experience working within quality, compliance, and continuous improvement frameworks.
- Excellent organisational, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong influencing, negotiation, and conflict‑management abilities.
- Demonstrated success leading teams in remote and hybrid environments.




- Commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Criminal record check (essential or willing to obtain)
- Working with children’s check (essential or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Workers screening clearance (essential or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to undertake interstate travel for hands‑on leadership.
