As a Home Care Support Worker, you’ll provide compassionate, high-quality care and support to our valued elderly clients in their own homes, helping them live safely, independently and with dignity. You’ll follow personalised care plans, empower clients to maintain their independence, and deliver support that reflects their individual needs and preferences.

You’ll also be responsible for managing tasks efficiently, maintaining accurate and timely documentation, and communicating with clients, families and colleagues in a warm, respectful and professional manner. All care must be delivered in accordance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, Goodwin policies and procedures, and our commitment to protecting client privacy, dignity and wellbeing.

We’re looking for people based in and around Moruya who are passionate about providing quality care and support to older people in their local community.





What You’ll Do

- Provide Personalised Care: Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, shopping, and transport.
- Promote Independence: Empower clients to live their lives on their terms by supporting their physical and emotional wellbeing.
- Medication Assistance: Administer medications as per Goodwin’s policies and training (once completed).
- Complete Essential Documentation: Ensure all care records are accurately maintained and report any incidents or issues to management promptly.
- Provide Support and Companionship: Offer a caring, respectful, and understanding presence for clients, ensuring they feel secure and valued.

What We’re Looking For

- Australian Driver’s License & Reliable Vehicle: You must have your own vehicle with full registration and insurance.
- Relevant Qualifications: A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care/Home and Community Care) or similar is highly desirable. If not already completed, you must be willing to attain it within the terms of your agreement.
- Experience in Care: Previous experience in aged care or community support is a plus, though not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: You must be comfortable interacting with a wide range of people, from clients to team members and families.
- Flexibility & Adaptability: The ability to multitask and adapt to various client needs and schedules is key.
