MacKillop Catholic College is a Year 7 to 12 Catholic secondary college in Mornington. We are seeking a professional, welcoming and organised Library and Front Office Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis.
As a valued member of our support staff team, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for students, staff, families and visitors, while assisting with library services and administrative functions across the College. The role offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, providing administrative support during periods of increased demand or staff absence.
The role will involve:
- Providing friendly and professional front office reception services.
- Responding to enquiries from students, parents, staff and visitors.
- Supporting student attendance and general administrative processes.
- Support students and staff to access library resources.
- Promote reading through displays, recommendations and events
- Use library systems and digital tools to support daily operations.
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Be able to manage competing priorities in a busy setting.
- Be committed to supporting the mission, values and principles of Catholic Education.
- Previous experience in a school or library will be highly regarded.
- Availability to work across Monday to Friday, with Friday availability essential, and the flexibility to work casual shifts as required
