The Firm:

Our client is a well-established, multi-office law firm with roots going back more than 25 years in the local area. They need a Senior Wills and Estates Lawyer for their Inner West Sydney office, a close-knit team of around 6, sitting within a group of roughly 30 lawyers. The role is primarily wills, estates and succession planning work, with scope to pick up commercial matters for a lawyer who wants a broader practice.

Salary and Features Offered

• $140,000-$160,000 + super, with onsite parking arranged, no scrambling for a spot on a suburban strip
• A small, close-knit office of around 6, backed by the resources of a 30-lawyer group
• A genuinely mixed practice: core wills and estates work with room to develop commercial files
• You'll work alongside a specialist-accredited wills and estates lawyer
• Real autonomy over your own caseload in a firm that isn't chasing high-volume churn

About the Role

You will manage a caseload of wills, estates and succession planning matters, with the chance to take on commercial work as your practice develops.

• Draft wills, powers of attorney and estate planning documents
• Advise on and administer deceased estates, including contested matters
• Handle succession and asset protection planning for private clients
• Pick up commercial matters such as contracts and business structuring where interest and capability allow
• Build direct,



ongoing relationships with clients across both practice areas

What You'll Bring

• 7-10+ years PAE in wills and estates, ideally with some commercial law exposure
• Current unrestricted NSW practising certificate
• Confidence running deceased estate administration and contested matters independently
• Comfortable picking up commercial work such as contracts or business advisory matters
• A driver's licence, with onsite parking provided
• Based in or able to work from Inner West Sydney
