Wenona is seeking a passionate and experienced Music teacher to temporarily join our Music Department. You will inspire our young women through energetic classroom practice, refined professional knowledge and a commitment to high performance.

The Position

- Deliver engaging Music lessons aligned with NSW Department of Education curriculum requirements.
- Plan, prepare, and implement effective programs, lesson plans, and assessment strategies to support student learning.
- Use a range of instructional methods and technology to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and well-managed classroom environment that supports student engagement and wellbeing.
- Contribute to departmental initiatives, school events, and broader school life while upholding duty of care responsibilities.

This is a temporary, part-time role for Term 4 2026.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will hold relevant qualifications in teaching Visual Arts with current NESA accreditation and demonstrate strong knowledge of the NESA curriculum. You will bring a passion for engaging students through dynamic and rigorous learning.



You will understand and be committed to meeting the educational needs of young women, while working collaboratively within a team environment and supporting the values of Wenona as you undertake your role.

This role requires the successful applicant to be NESA accredited, hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check, current NSW Police Check and to be vaccinated in line with any current Public Health Order.
