The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a Software Engineer to join a global organisation operating within the medical technology sector.

Working within a collaborative Product Development team, you will help build and maintain modern healthcare software solutions used by clinicians, researchers and healthcare professionals globally.

This is an excellent opportunity for a software engineer who enjoys solving technical problems, working with modern technologies and contributing to products that have a meaningful impact on healthcare and patient outcomes.

You’ll work across a contemporary technology stack including .NET/C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, cloud technologies and microservices, while collaborating with experienced engineers, product managers, UX and quality specialists.

What You’ll Be Doing

As part of a cross-functional Agile development team, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including:

- Designing, developing, testing and maintaining web applications and backend services
- Developing solutions using .NET, C#, Vue.js, TypeScript and Python
- Building and enhancing microservices and REST APIs
- Contributing to customer-facing applications and backend platform services
- Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
- Investigating and resolving software defects, performance issues and production incidents
- Participating in code reviews and technical design discussions
- Collaborating with Product Management, QA, UX and other engineering teams




- Supporting CI/CD pipelines and software deployment activities
- Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives
- Contributing to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
- Supporting the ongoing development of cloud-native and scalable software solutions

About You

We’re looking for a motivated Software Engineer who is passionate about technology, enjoys solving problems and wants to continue developing their technical capability.

You will ideally have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline
- Commercial software development experience
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
- Experience with C#, .NET, Java, Python, JavaScript or similar modern programming languages
- Understanding of web application development
- Familiarity with source control tools such as Git
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to writing high-quality, reliable software

Highly Regarded

Experience or exposure across any of the following would be advantageous:

- .NET and C#
- Vue.js, React or Angular
- TypeScript and modern JavaScript development
- REST APIs and microservices architecture
- Azure, AWS or Google Cloud




- SQL and relational databases
- Docker and containerisation
- Automated testing
- CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud-native software development
- Healthcare or medical technology

You don’t necessarily need experience across every technology. We’re interested in engineers with strong development fundamentals who are keen to learn and expand their technical capability.
