The Opportunity

We’re looking for Claims Officer’s to join QBE’s Liability Claims Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with insurance experience who is keen to grow their claims career. You'll bring a positive attitude, strong customer focus, and a willingness to learn in a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Your New Role

Manage a portfolio of liability claims, ensuring claims are assessed, progressed and resolved in a timely and efficient manner.

Review and assess claim information to support liability decisions, determine policy coverage and achieve fair customer outcomes.

Manage claims through the lifecycle, escalating complex matters where required and ensuring appropriate next steps are taken.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, brokers, solicitors, investigators and other key stakeholders.

Ensure all claims are managed in accordance with relevant legislation,



privacy requirements and internal policies and procedures.

Respond to enquiries in a timely, professional and courteous manner while delivering a high standard of customer service.

About You

Previous experience within the insurance industry is essential

Exposure to insurance claims management processes, particularly within liability, personal injury, financial lines or other complex claims environments, will be highly regarded. Familiarity with related legal, regulatory or dispute resolution processes is advantageous.

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

A positive attitude, customer-focused mindset and willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

A collaborative team player committed to delivering positive customer outcomes.
