We're seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to deliver enterprise infrastructure projects across a complex technology environment.
Working closely with Architecture, Security and Project teams, you'll be responsible for building, upgrading and migrating core infrastructure platforms, ensuring solutions are secure, resilient and production-ready.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and deploy Windows Server and Linux infrastructure.
- Deliver VMware, storage, backup and disaster recovery projects.
- Lead infrastructure upgrades, migrations and technology refreshes.
- Configure Active Directory and Microsoft identity services.
- Automate administration and deployment activities using PowerShell, Ansible or similar tools.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and production readiness activities.
- Create technical documentation and operational handovers.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to deliver successful project outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- 5-7 years' Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Solid Windows Server and Linux administration skills.
- Proven VMware virtualisation experience.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft identity services, storage and backup technologies.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity.
- PowerShell, Ansible or automation tool experience.
- Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and documentation skills.
Candidates for this MUST be located in Melbourne and able to go into office 3x days a week.
