We are seeking experienced Cyber Capability Delivery Managers to support the delivery of high-profile cyber security initiatives within a large Federal Government environment.
This is an exciting prospect to lead complex cyber and ICT programs that enhance security capabilities across a diverse technology landscape. Working alongside senior stakeholders, technical specialists, and external vendors, you will play a key role in delivering strategic cyber outcomes while ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
About the Role
As a Cyber Capability Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of cyber security and technology initiatives within complex and fast-paced environments.
You will lead delivery activities, coordinate stakeholders, manage project governance, and drive successful outcomes across multiple streams of work.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of cyber security projects and programs using appropriate project and program management methodologies.
- Coordinate cyber assurance activities across architecture, governance, risk, compliance, and audit functions.
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change controls to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project documentation, including delivery plans, schedules, status reports, and benefits management artefacts.
- Support agile and hybrid delivery approaches to enable responsive and outcome-focused project delivery.
- Provide accurate reporting, strategic advice, and executive-level updates to senior stakeholders.
- Foster strong stakeholder relationships across business, technical, and vendor groups.
Skills & Experience
To be successful,
you will demonstrate experience delivering complex ICT and/or cyber security projects in one or more of the following areas:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Cyber Risk and Governance
- Networks and Infrastructure
- Cyber Cloud Technologies
- Cyber Operations / Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Vulnerability Management and Threat Intelligence
You will also bring:
- Proven experience managing large-scale ICT or cyber security initiatives.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
- Experience working within Agile, Hybrid, or iterative delivery environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of executive briefings and reports.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, issues, and dependencies within a government environment.
- Strong project, program, and delivery management capabilities.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience using DevOps or contemporary delivery management tools.
- Knowledge of cyber security capabilities, assurance frameworks, and security governance practices.
