Manage high-level administration, coordinate clinical support and build strong relationships across a busy community mental health setting.

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (up to 4th April 2027 with possible extension for another 6 months)

Remuneration: $37.27 - $38.44 per hour

Location: Parramatta Community Health Centre (Jeffrey House)

Where you'll be working
Join Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) at Parramatta Community Health Centre (Jeffrey House), a agile community-based hub supporting people across Western Sydney. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams delivering comprehensive mental health services across the community.

- Support four Mental Health Services: Parramatta Acute Care Team, Parramatta Clinical Coordination Team, Prevention Early Intervention Recovery Services and Gold Card Clinic.

- Work within a diverse service environment spanning acute care, clinical coordination and community-based mental health.

- Contribute to services supporting communities across Auburn, Blacktown, Parramatta and wider Western Sydney.

- Build relationships across clinical teams, GPs, NGOs, government departments, inpatient services and legal partners.

What you'll be doing
As an Administration Officer Level 3, you’ll provide high-level administrative and clerical support while helping ensure the reception and broader service operates efficiently. This is an opportunity to use your initiative, judgement and organisational skills in a role where your work directly supports quality mental health care.

- Act as the first point of contact, delivering responsive and professional customer service to consumers, carers,



staff and external stakeholders.

- Coordinate appointments, enquiries, correspondence and administrative processes, ensuring priorities and deadlines are effectively managed.

- Support Mental Health Review Tribunal hearings and inquiries, including preparation of agendas, minutes, correspondence and documentation.

- Manage rostering, timesheets, purchase orders, invoices, billing functions, records and general office administration.

- Create high-quality documents, spreadsheets, presentations and reports using Microsoft Office while maintaining accurate electronic records and information systems.

1. Relevant qualifications in business, office administration and/or equivalent experience in similar office/administrative/customer service/reception roles

2. Demonstrated high level and effective interpersonal skills, with good oral and written communication and the ability to confidently and courteously communicate with a wide range and variety of individuals and organisations both internally and externally

3. High level customer service skills,



with a demonstrated commitment to providing high quality service and maintaining confidentiality and privacy

4. Demonstrated good computer literacy with Microsoft office suite products, including proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as experience in the use of computer hardware, various electronic administration systems and databases

5. Demonstrated excellent administrative and organisation skills with strong accuracy and attention to detail

6. Demonstrated good ability to plan, prioritise and organise a wide range of administrative tasks in a high volume work environment and display time management and problem solving skills to meet deadlines

7. Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable, use initiative and work effectively without supervision as well as in collaboration with other staff members contributing to a well-functioning team
