Our client is a well-established and growing specialist in the maintenance and repair of heavy plant and machinery across a range of industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join their workshop team based in Wangara.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on heavy plant and machinery
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
- Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Conduct breakdown repairs as required
- Maintain accurate service and repair records




- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Contribute to maintaining a clean and organised workshop

About You

- Trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, Plant Mechanic or equivalent
- Experience working on earthmoving, construction, mining or mobile plant equipment
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Knowledge of hydraulic, diesel and mechanical systems
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship
- Current Driver's Licence
- High Risk Licences, tickets or additional certifications highly regarded
