The Role

This is a newly available opportunity for an experienced wedding sales professional to lead the wedding sales function across two of Sydney’s most sought after event venues. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, you’ll take ownership of the wedding enquiry to booking journey, building genuine relationships with couples while managing your own wedding coordinator to ensure a seamless handover from sale through to event delivery.

While the venue’s overall event mix leans heavily corporate, weddings remain a key growth focus, and this role is central to converting robust enquiry volume into confirmed bookings. The role works Tuesday to Saturday, and will primarily be based at one waterfront venue with support provided at a second city venue as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings through a primarily reactive sales approach, supplemented by proactive business development during quieter periods
- Maintain accurate and up to date CRM records, including enquiry tracking, follow ups and reporting
- Contribute to wedding sales forecasting and overall pipeline management
- Lead and support your own wedding coordinator, providing clear and detailed handovers for confirmed weddings
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless transition from sale to execution
- Maintain a strong understanding of wedding packages, menus, beverage options, venue capacities and supplier offerings
- Partner with the in-house marketing team on wedding promotions, showcases, open days and other sales initiatives
- Support wedding enquiries,



client meetings and site inspections at the second venue when required
- Represent the venues at relevant industry events, site visits and networking opportunities

The Candidate

You’re a polished and commercially minded wedding sales professional who thrives on converting enquiries into confirmed bookings and delivering an exceptional client journey from first contact through to handover.

- 3+ years’ experience in wedding sales, ideally from a venue or hotel operations background
- Confident managing high enquiry volumes without losing attention to detail
- Strong relationship building and client management skills
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities across two venues
- Commercially focused, with an emphasis on conversion and revenue growth
- Comfortable leading a coordinator and providing clear, structured handovers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

Salary & Benefits

- $85K–$90K plus super, plus commission
