This is a hybrid role requiring regular travel across operational sites in Sydney's Greater Western Sydney, South West and Illawarra regions, and flexibility to respond to business needs as they arise.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead and develop the People & Culture function, including coaching and supporting a direct report while fostering an inclusive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
- Build leadership capability through coaching, guidance and practical support across employee relations, performance, engagement and people management matters.
- Lead the ongoing development of learning and development frameworks, leadership programs and capability-building initiatives that support employee growth and organisational success.
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation, workforce risk and compliance.
- Use workforce data and insights to identify opportunities, inform decision-making and support continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively across the organisation, rolling up your sleeves where needed and contributing to a culture where people work together to achieve meaningful outcomes.
About You
You are an experienced HR generalist who enjoys partnering with leaders, solving problems and helping organisations grow. You bring the credibility to influence senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves when needed.
You'll bring:
- Minimum five years' experience in a Business Partner or senior HR generalist role.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, Fair Work and Modern Awards.
- Experience managing employee relations matters and coaching leaders.
- Experience designing and implementing HR policies, procedures and people initiatives.
- Strong workforce reporting and data analysis capability.
- A current NSW Driver Licence and willingness to travel between sites as required.
- Experience supporting SCHADS Award workforces is desirable.
