Group Manager – People & Culture | Export Beef Processing | Singleton (Hunter Valley), NSW

Osborne Richardson is partnering with E C Throsby to appoint their most senior People & Culture leader - a group-wide role for an experienced HR/IR professional who thrives in a fast-paced industrial environment and can lead an Enterprise Agreement negotiation from mandate to ballot.

Reporting directly to the CEO as a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, the Group Manager – People & Culture will set and drive the group P&C; strategy across both the Whittingham (Singleton) and Young facilities - spanning HR, IR, recruitment, wellness and injury management, employee accommodation, and the PALM and international recruitment programs.

The role will lead:

- Group-wide People & Culture strategy across two sites
- End-to-end Enterprise Agreement negotiations in a unionised environment




- Leadership and development of a P&C; team across both locations
- Workforce planning and end-to-end recruitment — including PALM Scheme, Industry Labour Agreements and visa management
- Firm, commercially sound advice to the CEO, CFO and operational leaders

The successful candidate will bring:

- 7+ years' senior P&C; / HR leadership, including multi-site responsibility
- Proven end-to-end EA negotiation experience in a unionised setting
- Strong command of the Fair Work Act, contemporary awards and HR/IR legislation
- Credible, calm influence with leaders at every level
- Meat processing, food manufacturing or heavy-industry experience (highly regarded)
- Experience with PALM / international recruitment programs (highly regarded)

This is a pivotal, permanent, on-site leadership role for someone who leads from the front, builds strong teams and holds a firm commercial line under pressure. Regular travel between the Singleton and Young sites is part of the role.
