Parks and Garden Labourers
Allstaff Australia are currently seeking dedicated and skilled Parks and Garden staff to join our team.
As a Parks and Gardens General Service Officer 3/4, you will play a vital role in the preservation and upkeep of our local Open spaces & Parks and Gardens.
Your primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Mowing lawns and whipper snipping ensuring the overall cleanliness of public green spaces.
- Weeding, litter picking, rubbish removal.
- Operating and maintaining various horticultural tools and equipment.
- Assisting with landscaping projects as needed.
- Monitoring and reporting any safety hazards within the parks and gardens.
- Collaborating with fellow team members to achieve common goals.
To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications & skills
- White Card
- Asbestos Awareness
- Prevention of Exposure to Crystalline Silica
- Traffic Control Ticket - Or be willing to obtain
- A current Police check (Done within the last 6 months with "No Disclosable Outcomes" or willing to apply for one)
- A valid open class drivers' licence
- Robust teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- A passion for gardening and a commitment to environmental sustainability.
