We are at a very robust stage of company growth due to both existing projects and upcoming developments. We are looking for an accomplished, driven and team-oriented Estimator with an exceptional eye for detail and well-developed time management skills to join our business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities include (but not limited to)
- Pricing labour, materials and onsite equipment prior to commencement of works
- Checking Supplier/Subcontractor quotes and issuing purchase orders for onsite works
- Assisting with client sales estimates and upgrade costings
- Creating and sustaining ongoing relationships with Subcontractors and Suppliers
- Updating databases of information
- Uploading and approving invoices from Suppliers and Subcontractors
- Assisting in resolving on-site issues relating to purchase orders
What you need to join our exciting team
- Previous estimating experience in a similar role
- Understand construction, techniques, terminology, costs and be able to communicate this in simple terms
- Strong understanding of workflow stages in the home building industry from inception to construction
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to prioritise and multi-task
- Follow instructions accurately
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans.
