About the role

Shadeworks AUS is a Bairnsdale-based outdoor shade solutions company specialising in outdoor blinds, shade sails, awnings, louvre roofs, umbrellas, and glass/cable balustrades. We're looking for a reliable, hands-on team player to join our workshop.

This is a great opportunity to build real skills in a growing local trade and get involved in varied, practical work — no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing

• Fabricating and assembling outdoor blinds (cutting, fitting hardware, quality checks)

• Cleaning and washing shade sails and outdoor fabric products

• General workshop cleaning, tidying, and stock organisation

• Stock and inventory control

• Loading/unloading materials and assisting with deliveries or pickups as needed

• Some site installation work may be included from time to time

• Supporting the team with other general duties around the workshop as required

What you'll bring





• A robust work ethic and willingness to learn new skills

• Comfortable with physical, hands-on work (standing, lifting, repetitive tasks)

• Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work

• Reliable, punctual, and a good team player

• Prior experience in a trade, fabrication, upholstery, or similar workshop environment is a bonus but not essential — full training provided

• Forklift licence is an advantage but not essential
