About the role
We’re looking for a dedicated, nurturing and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team, with opportunities available for permanent part-time and casual employment. This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in children's early years, within a supportive, small-team setting where your contribution is seen and valued.
Key responsibilities
- Support a nurturing, stimulating, and safe environment for children
- Help plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Build strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and team members
- Observe and document children's development and learning journeys
- Support compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and the National Quality Framework (NQF)
- Champion child safety, contributing to a culture of protection, inclusion, and well-being
- Work collaboratively within a reflective, close-knit team
- Support daily routines, including meals, rest times, and outdoor play
About you
- Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA-approved equivalent, or actively working towards)
- A solid understanding of and commitment to child safety and ethical practice
- Previous experience working with young children preferred, but not essential
- Understanding of the EYLF, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Child Safe Standards
- A genuine passion for early childhood education and a warm, patient nature
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork
- A commitment to continuous improvement and reflective practice
- Current Working with Children Check, First Aid (HLTAID012), Foundations of Child Safe Training, Protect Mandatory Reporting Training (or willingness to obtain)
