Since opening our doors in Balaclava in 2012, we've grown to 70+ locations nationwide and expanded internationally, all while staying true to our family owned roots. About the role
As the Venue General Manager, you'll lead from the front, build and develop a high performing team, create exceptional guest experiences and drive strong commercial results.

This opportunity would suit a confident, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership and knows how to bring out the best in their team. You’ll play a key role in shaping the next chapter of Yo-Chi Balaclava, setting the standard, building a strong culture and creating a venue your team and community love being part of.

What we’re looking for:

- An experienced leader from hospitality, retail or QSR, ideally within a high-volume workplace.
- Confident managing venue performance, including labour, COGS, budgets and P&L.;
- A hands-on leader who loves being on the floor and leading alongside their team.
- Someone passionate about building great teams, strong culture and exceptional guest experiences.
- Resilient,



adaptable and able to bring calm, positive energy to a fast-paced environment.
- Hungry to make an impact and grow with Yo-Chi.

What you’ll be doing:

- Lead by example – deliver outstanding guest experiences and set the standard for your team.
- Coach & inspire – motivate and develop your team to perform at their best.
- Drive standards – uphold excellence in service, quality, safety and presentation.
- Financial accountability – manage labour, COGS, and P&L; to deliver strong results.
- Build culture – recruit, train, and retain top talent, fostering a positive, high-performing team.
- Community focus – connect with the local area through events and partnerships to grow the Yo-Chi love.
