Your opportunity

Reporting to the Principal through the Deputy Principals and Head of Junior School, the Psychologist plays a key role in supporting student wellbeing across both College campuses. The position provides individual counselling, contributes to whole‑school wellbeing initiatives, supports staff and parents, and works collaboratively to identify and respond to students at risk.





This role will be primarily based on our Junior Campus, full-time contract through to 13 July 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide confidential, professional counselling services to students using appropriate evidence‑based interventions

- Support early identification of students at risk and contribute to proactive wellbeing initiatives

- Work collaboratively within the Pastoral Care team to strengthen student wellbeing programs

- Provide consultation and support to parents and staff, including presentations and psycho‑education

- Participate in crisis and critical incident response as required

- Maintain accurate records, assessments and reports in accordance with legislative and professional standards

- Liaise with external service providers when required

- Uphold all Child Protection, Child Safety, and Work Health and Safety obligations

About You

You are a compassionate, skilled and collaborative practitioner who is passionate about supporting children and young people in an educational setting.

You will bring:

- Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA

- Relevant tertiary qualifications at degree level

- Demonstrated counselling experience, preferably within a school or youth‑focused workplace





- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development

- Experience working collaboratively in multidisciplinary wellbeing teams

- Excellent communication, relationship‑building and organisational skills

- A growth mindset and commitment to ongoing professional learning

- Alignment with, and respect for, the Christian ethos and values of the College
