IGA Carina Megafresh is looking for an enthusiastic Grocery Assistant to join our team.
We are a busy, family-owned independent supermarket with a strong focus on great customer service, fresh food and providing a great shopping experience for our local community.
About the Role
As a Grocery Assistant, you will be an important part of our store team, helping to keep our shelves full, displays looking great and customers well looked after.
Your duties will include:
Filling and rotating grocery stock
Maintaining clean, full and well-presented shelves
Checking stock dates and following correct stock rotation procedures
Setting up and maintaining promotional displays
Assisting with deliveries and stock movement
Helping customers locate products
Keeping grocery areas clean, tidy and protected
Providing friendly and helpful customer service
Assisting in other areas of the supermarket when required
