Public Sector People are partnering with a metropolitan Melbourne council to recruit an experienced Strategic Open Space Plannerfor a long-term contract through to approximately June .

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a significant urban renewal precinct, helping shape the future delivery of public open space, recreation facilities and community infrastructure.
n
About the Role You will:
n
n
Develop strategic open space and recreation planning
n
Help determine future open space and facility requirements
n
Contribute to concept designs, masterplans and precinct planning
n
Provide strategic and design input into future public spaces
n
Manage projects and external consultants
n
Work closely with Council, government and community stakeholders
n
Prepare clear reports,



strategies and presentations
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone with:
n
n
Experience in strategic open space planning
n
A background in landscape architecture, landscape design, urban design or planning
n
Robust project management and strategic thinking skills
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
Government experience highly regarded
n
n
