Brisbane City Council - Boilermaker / Welders

Are you an experienced Boilermaker or Welder looking for steady, high-quality project work in Brisbane?
n
We have an exciting opportunity with Brisbane City Council, working alongside our Concrete Remediation team on the iconic William Jolly Bridge.
n
n
Location: William Jolly Bridge (Onsite parking provided with daily travel allowance)
n
n
Roster: 4 x 9.5-hour days, Monday to Thursday (6:00 AM - 4:00 PM)
n
n
Overtime: Standard site operations run 5 days a week-meaning Friday is a regular working day paid at full overtime rates for hours over 38
n
n
About your current role?
n
n
TIG, MIG, and Stick welding on structural steel
n
Onsite fabrication and structural modifications
n
Collaborating with the concrete remediation team to assist with general concrete and formwork duties as needed
n
Communicating effectively within a team environment while working independently when required
n
n
What you will need to exceed?
n




We are looking for multiple experienced Boilermakers who are reliable and enjoys providing a high quality of work. The ideal applicant will also have a solid sense of teamwork and a commitment to safety. You will also need to have the following tickets and licenses:
n

Trade qualification as a boilermaker or Welder (essential)
n
Working at heights ticket (essential)
n
C Class drivers licence (essential)
n
MR License (desirable)
n
Concrete or Formwork expeirence (desirable)
n
n
