Connect APAC are proud to be partnering once again with an established market-leading FMCG business who is looking for a National Business Development Manager to drive growth across the Foodservice & Alternate Channels.

This is a critical role for the business as they continue to scale their operations here locally, launch new NPD, and continue to win marketshare in market - albeit an established leader.
n
The National Business Development Manager leads current business growth and manages accounts end-to-end across the Australian food service channel - including distributors, wholesalers, contract caterers, and independent operators, as well as QSR groups.
n
As part of this expansion, the role will also play a key role in supporting the growth of Petrol & Convenience channel, and other business development opportunities aligned to business priorities, working closely with the CEO and Director.

About You
n
n
Proven experience in a Business Development or Account Management role within the food service industry
n




Strong understanding of the food service channel, including distributors, wholesalers, contract caterers, and independent operators
n
Confident negotiator who can influence at senior levels, including distributor and operator principals
n
Track record of identifying and converting new commercial prospects into long-term, well-managed accounts
n
Strong forecasting and pipeline discipline, with a track record of clean CRM and reporting hygiene
n
Comfortable working autonomously and making decisions without heavy sign-off processes
n
Robust relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
n
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
