We are currently seeking an experienced Electronics Service Technician to conduct maintenance and repair tasks on a myriad of electronic equipment devices such as powered speakers, Audio desk (mixing console) LED lights, DMX lights, LED panels, laptops, etc.
n
Tasks would include, but are not limited to:
n
n
Diagnose, test and rectify faults;
n
Repair all kinds of electronic equipment such as laptops, audio desk, powered speakers, projectors, lamps, batteries, spare parts etc
n
Rectify faults in electronic circuits
n
Soldering as required
n
Cleaning and maintenance of equipment/assets
n
Maintenance of record keeping of equipment/assets
n




Source quotes from supplier for parts to fix equipment/assets
n
Escalate poor management of equipment as required
n
Make recommendations to improve equipment handling as required. Providing suggestions on how to improve shelf life of equipment e.g. protective cases
n
Assist with stock take as required
n
Operate plant and machinery as required;
n
Adhere to Work Health Safety policies are followed
n
All other associated electronic repairs in the Audio visual industry
n
n
Essential skills:
n
n
Must be experienced in electronic repair and maintenance or have an Electronic trade certification.
n
Ability to inspect, diagnose, maintain and repair electronic equipment
n
Minimum 2 years' relevant experience and knowledge
n
Test and Tag License preferable
n
Ability to multitask, prioritise and be extremely organised
n
The successful candidate may be required to undertake a police check and/or full medical including drug and alcohol screen.
