We are looking for a Kitchen Hand / Cook to join our team in Toowoomba!

Experience is preferred but not essential. If you have a basic understanding of working in a commercial kitchen and are willing to learn, we are happy to train you.

What you will be doing:

- Food preparation and kitchen prep
- Following FIFO (First In, First Out) for food storage
- Labelling and dating food correctly
- Maintaining correct cold and hot food temperatures
- Organising and maintaining the cool room
- Following basic food safety and hygiene procedures
- Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organisation
- Cleaning equipment and work areas
- Completing temperature and kitchen safety logs
- Helping the chef with day-to-day kitchen operations
- Keeping the kitchen organised and running smoothly

What we are looking for:

- Basic knowledge of commercial kitchen practices
- Understanding of basic food safety and kitchen hygiene
- A kitchen/food-related qualification is preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn




- Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team
- Experience is not essential – we can train the right person

I am a qualified chef, so if you don't know some of the above procedures, don't worry. If you have the right attitude and are willing to learn, we are happy to teach you.

Salary: $55000–$75000 + super per year, depending on experience and skills.

The salary will be discussed based on your experience and ability.
