Job description

Upper Hunter Apiaries based in Hunter Valley, NSW is seeking a full time Beekeeper with minimum 4 years experience, be physically fit, able to stay away from home for multiple nights and hold a Heavy Combination (HC) license.

You Must:

- Have previous Beekeeping experience
- Be physically fit and able to lift heavy weights
- Hold a Heavy Combination HC license (truck)
- Be prepared to work diverse hours in busy periods
- Be able to work as a team

Roles Include:

- Queen rearing, re-queening and brood work
- Identify pests and diseases
- Shifting beehives to new locations
- Robbing honey from hives




- Extracting honey and cleaning extracting plant
- Woodwork and fabrication of bee equipment

A Salary of $90,000 gross per annum plus super

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $90,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Muswellbrook NSW 2333: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

- Beekeeping: 4 years (Required)

Licence/Certification:

- HC Licence (Required)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (Preferred)
