- A current Australian swimming teacher qualification
- Current and valid employment Working with Children Check
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation qualification

Desirable but not essential:
- Infant, Access and Inclusion, Competitive strokes teaching qualifications
- First Aid Level 2 qualification
- Pool Lifeguard qualification
Teacher applications will be required to undergo a teacher competency assessment as part of their application process. In accordance with Child Safe Standards, we require all job applicants to undergo training, extensive screening and a background check prior to appointment.
