Level Up Youth Foundation is growing, and we’re looking for passionate, reliable and down-to-earth Youth Mentors to join our team.

We’re looking for mentors who don’t just want a job — we want people who genuinely want to see young people succeed.

Our mentors work alongside young people to build confidence, independence, life skills, community connection and positive pathways for their future.

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

People who are:

Passionate about supporting young people

Positive, patient and able to build genuine connections

Reliable, consistent and professional

Comfortable working independently in the community

Robust communicators and positive role models

Willing to think outside the box and make mentoring engaging

Willing and able to travel across Sydney and the Illawarra

Committed to helping young people recognise their strengths and achieve their goals

QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant qualifications in areas such as Youth Work, Community Services, Disability, Mental Health, Social Work or similar are highly regarded.





Don't have a qualification yet? We’re also interested in the right people who are willing to obtain relevant qualifications and develop within the role.

EMPLOYMENT & COMPLIANCE CHECKS

Successful applicants will need to hold or be willing to obtain:

- Working With Children Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- National Police Check
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Current Australian Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with appropriate comprehensive insurance
- Relevant NDIS worker training/modules as required

We’re looking for mentors who understand that mentoring is more than simply spending time with a young person.

It’s about showing up, building trust, being consistent, encouraging growth and genuinely wanting to see that young person succeed.
