Café Team Member – Entry Level / School Leaver

Mountain View Café is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic entry-level team member to join our busy café team.

This role would be particularly well suited to a school leaver, home-school student, or someone starting out in the workforce who has good availability across both weekdays and weekends.

Previous hospitality experience is not essential — we’re happy to train the right person. We’re more interested in finding someone who is reliable, personable, willing to learn, comfortable working in a busy workplace and keen to become a useful part of the team.

Availability

We are ideally looking for someone who:

- Has availability across weekdays and weekends
- Is available during the upcoming September school holidays
- Has good availability across the Christmas school holiday period
- Can work a mixture of shifts depending on the needs of the business

About the role

The role will involve a variety of front-of-house café duties, including:





- Running food and drinks
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Customer service
- Assisting with cakes and cold drinks
- Cleaning and general café duties
- Helping the team during busy service periods

This is a great first job or entry-level hospitality role for someone wanting to gain practical work experience and develop customer service, teamwork and hospitality skills.
