We are currently recruiting on behalf of an established employer seeking an experienced and hands-on Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their retail business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced retail qualified seeking a long-term career opportunity in Australia. Key Responsibilities

- Manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail establishment
- Maintain high standards of customer service and manage escalated customer enquiries and complaints
- Manage stock purchasing, ordering, replenishment and inventory control
- Liaise and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, quality, availability and deliveries
- Conduct and supervise stocktakes and investigate discrepancies
- Review product pricing, margins, discounts and promotional strategies
- Monitor sales performance, customer demand, competitor activity and market trends
- Prepare and manage budgets, operating expenses and sales forecasts
- Recruit, train,



supervise and manage retail employees
- Prepare staff rosters and allocate duties
- Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and ongoing training
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and company procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve store performance, customer satisfaction and profitability

Candidate Requirements

- Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership position
- Strong people-management and operational capabilities
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience with inventory, stock control, purchasing and supplier management
- Ability to manage a fast-paced retail environment and take a hands-on approach to store operations
- Flexibility to work according to the operational requirements of the business

Candidates will be assessed based on relevant experience, skills, availability and suitability for the position.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
