We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer focused person to work in a newsagency. The role involves serving customers, handling cash and FTPOS transactions, maintaning stock and keeping the store clean and organised.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service.
- Process cash, EFTPOS and other transactions accurately.
- Sell newspapers, magazines, stationary, cards, lottery products and other retail items.
- Receive,check. display and replenish stock.
- Maintain, clean, tidy and well presented shelves and displays.
- Assist with opening and closing the store.
- Handle customer enquires and resolve basic issues professionally.
- Follow store procedure for cash handling, stock control and security.
- Work effectively as part of a team.

Skills and Requirements

- Good communicaton and customer service skils.
- Reliable, punctual and responsible.
- Basic numeracy and cash handling skills.
- Ability to work independent;y ans as part of a team.
- Positive attention to detail.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
- Availability to work weekends or early mornings may be required.

Pay: From $27.81 per hour
