Alofa Care Services is seeking a caring, experienced and reliable female disability support worker for consistent work across the Dromana and Rye areas.

Due to the personal-care requirements of the role and the participant’s preference, a female support worker is required. The participant would ideally like someone in their late twenties to mid-thirties who can relate to them and build a genuine, long-term connection.

The role includes:

- Personal care, continence support and toileting
- Supporting non-verbal communication and the use of communication devices
- Assistance with daily living and building independence
- Community access and social activities
- Supporting sensory needs while out in the community
- Swimming and other recreational activities

The role will begin with shadow shifts and participant-specific training. Thursday availability is required initially, with the possibility of additional shifts for the right person.





To be suitable, you must have:

- Experience supporting non-verbal participants
- Experience with personal care, continence support and toileting
- A patient, caring and respectful approach
- Solid communication and relationship-building skills
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid and CPR
- Relevant disability qualification or experience
- Current driver’s licence and a reliable, insured vehicle
- Availability for consistent Thursday shifts
