We’re on the lookout for an enthusiastic and hands-on Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our busy restaurant. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager and leadership team, you’ll help ensure smooth service, build a positive team culture, and deliver the warm, genuine hospitality the Ducks are known for.
About The Role
- Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily FOH operations across floor and bar
- Lead by example during service, setting the tone for high energy, professional and friendly hospitality
- Help train, coach and develop team members to deliver consistently great guest experiences
- Assist with rosters, daily reporting and cost management
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and communication
- Take ownership of opening and closing procedures, cash handling and daily reports
- Maintain high standards of presentation, guest satisfaction and brand integrity
- Ensure compliance with all WHS, RSA and food safety requirements
About You
- Previous experience in a supervisor or assistant manager role within a fast-paced venue
- Confident leading a team and creating a positive, supportive culture
- Strong understanding of service flow, customer experience and restaurant operations
- Organised, reliable and solutions-focused with outstanding communication skills
- Passionate about good food, people and sustainability
- Calm under pressure and hands-on during busy services
