Care For Care is a growing NDIS-registered disability support provider committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred services that empower participants to live independently and achieve their goals.
We are seeking an experienced and driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across our accommodation and support services, with a strong focus on Supported Independent Living (SIL), Short Term Respite (STR), Hospital Discharges and Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA).
About the Role
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for expanding Care For Care’s presence within the NDIS sector by building strong referral networks, increasing occupancy across accommodation services, and identifying new growth opportunities.
This is a strategic, target-driven role suited to someone with strong industry relationships and in-depth knowledge of the NDIS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth across SIL, STA and SDA services
- Build and maintain robust referral pathways with: Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Local Area Coordinators (LACs), Hospitals and mental health services, Allied health professionals, Community organizations
- Increase participant intake and maintain strong occupancy levels across properties
- Identify new accommodation opportunities aligned with market demand
- Represent Care For Care at expos, conferences, and industry networking events
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis within the NDIS sector
- Prepare and present tailored service proposals to potential participants and referrers
- Monitor KPIs, manage sales pipelines, and report on growth performance
- Collaborate with operations to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Contribute to risk management and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in the Disability sector
- Proven experience in NDIS business development with measurable growth outcomes
- Strong understanding of SIL, STA, SDA and NDIS compliance requirements
- Knowledge of the NDIS Quality & Safeguards Commission Framework and Practice Standards
- Established professional network within the disability sector
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with the ability to meet revenue and occupancy targets
- Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel
