About SWEETA

SWEETA is a growing confectionery brand creating delicious, beautifully presented treats with a focus on quality, great ingredients and thoughtful presentation. We’re a small but mighty team and are looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join us in our Melbourne warehouse.

The Role

As a Casual Production Assistant, you’ll play an significant role in helping us prepare, pack and create our SWEETA range of confectionery products.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in what they do and can work efficiently as part of a small team.

Key Responsibilities

● Packing and preparing confectionery products

● Labelling and packaging products accurately

● Assisting with production and assembly of SWEETA products

● Weighing, portioning and preparing products

● Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic work area

● Checking products and packaging for quality

● Preparing orders for dispatch

● Following food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures

● Helping with general warehouse and production tasks as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who is:

● Reliable, punctual and hardworking

● Positive and energetic





● Hands-on and happy to get stuck in

● Highly organised with good attention to detail

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

● Able to work independently as well as part of a small team

● Interested in food, confectionery or production

● Some food production or packing experience or food handling understanding is an advantage, but not essential, — we’re happy to train the right person.
