The Role
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic OSHC professional who genuinely enjoys working with children and wants to make a positive difference in their lives. You’ll play an important role in creating a protected, inclusive and engaging environment where every child feels valued,
supported and encouraged to participate.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Support a safe OSHC service for staff and children in an all-inclusive professional team environment
- Ensure child safety and supervision at all times
- Support the design and implementation of engaging educational programs with observations and reflection journals
- Create opportunities to share children’s participation and engagement in programs with families
- Maintain strong relationships with families and the school community
About you
To be successful you will have:
- (Desirable) Hold a qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or working towards one
- (Desirable) Previous work experience in Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)
- (Desirable) Hold a certificate of training in Child Protection
- (Desirable) Full first-aid certificate
- Hold a NSW Working with Children check
- Completed the mandatory national child safety training via GECCKO. Register GECCKO
