Our client is seeking self-motivated and well-presented candidates to take the next step in their career and become vehicle painter technicians servicing your state. You may already be a mobile vehicle painter or wish to move from a panel shop into one of our State-of-the-art repair vans, this position will offer the best of both.

Key Responsibilities:

- Removing rough spots on vehicle panels
- Sanding surfaces by hand and with power sanders
- Masking areas not to be painted with tape and paper
- Colour matching and mixing paints to match paint shades, and selecting pre-mixed paint
- Applying primer and finishing coats using spray-guns, and sanding surfaces between coats
- Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
- Removing masking and waxing and polishing finished paintwork
- Painting signs and artwork on vehicles




- Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals

Requirements:

- Minimum of 2 year of proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker
- Certificate 4 in related filed study. if not, you need 3 years work experience.
- Proficiency in using various painting tools and equipment.
- Robust attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in the workplace.
- Able to communicate in english
- Physically fit and able to work in a harsh climate, performing manual work.

Pay: $79,423.00 – $80,000.00 per year
