We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Cook to join the team at Noor Cafe, a new café in Western Sydney.

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about food, confident in a fast paced café kitchen and, importantly, creative with new ideas. We want someone who can not only execute our menu consistently but also bring their own experience and creativity to help develop new and signature dishes that make our menu stand out.

Key Responsibilities:

- Preparing and cooking breakfast, brunch and lunch dishes to a consistently high standard
- Managing daily food preparation and ensuring the kitchen is organised and ready for service
- Maintaining consistency in portion sizes, presentation, taste and overall food quality
- Bringing creativity and new ideas to the kitchen, including assisting with the development of signature dishes, specials and seasonal menu items
- Staying on top of stock levels, ordering and inventory to ensure the kitchen is always properly supplied
- Monitoring food costs, portion control and minimising unnecessary wastage
- Supporting the smooth running of the kitchen during busy service periods
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Assisting with training and supporting junior kitchen staff




- Working closely with management on menu development and improving kitchen operations

What We’re Looking For:

- Minimum 2+ years of experience
- Robust experience in a busy café, breakfast or brunch environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and develop new dishes
- Strong understanding of stock management, ordering and food preparation
- Ability to work confidently and efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail, flavour and food presentation
- Reliable, organised and punctual
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
- Someone who takes ownership of their role and wants to grow with the business
