We are looking for motivated and reliable people who are interested in building a career through a traineeship or apprenticeship in the construction industry.

As part of this opportunity, eligible candidates will have the opportunity to undertake a FREE Building and Construction Foundation Course, designed to provide essential skills and knowledge for entry-level construction work and apprenticeship pathways.

The course covers:

- CPCCOM1012 – Work Effectively and Sustainably in the Construction Industry
- CPCCOM1013 – Plan and Organise Work
- CPCCOM1014 – Conduct Workplace Communication
- CPCCOM1015 – Carry Out Measurements and Calculations

Career Pathways

The training provides a foundation for employment and apprenticeship opportunities in areas including:

- Carpentry
- Painting and decorating
- Wall and floor tiling
- Bricklaying / blocklaying
- Plastering
- General construction
- Other relevant construction trades

Course Details

Commencement: End of September
Duration: Approximately 4 weeks
Schedule: 1 day per week Blended Learning




Cost: FREE (eligibility criteria apply)

Employment Opportunities

Upon successful completion of the foundation training, traineeship and/or apprenticeship opportunities will be available with relevant employers.

Employment opportunities are subject to the employer’s selection criteria, availability of positions, and successful completion of the recruitment process.
