Location: Westmead, Auburn, Mount Druitt and Blacktown Hospitals (rotating position)

You’ll work closely with Emergency Department clinical and non-clinical teams to strengthen communication, build trust and ensure patients and their support networks feel informed and cared for while awaiting treatment.

What you'll be doing
As Patient Experience Coordinator, you’ll bring empathy, initiative and strong communication skills to improve the experience of people navigating Emergency Department care.

- Lead initiatives that improve the waiting experience for patients, families and carers.
- Coordinate communication with clinical and non-clinical staff to support timely information and escalation.
- Identify and respond to opportunities for service recovery, including resolving non-clinical concerns.
- Monitor patient and carer feedback and use insights to inform service improvement and change.
- Use technology and cutting-edge approaches to deliver accessible information and strengthen patient-centred care.
