Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with customers, have a positive attitude, and be willing to learn about our products. Previous retail experience is preferred and full training will be provided.

This role offers flexible working hours, with shifts primarily available on weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide excellent customer service and assist customers with their purchases.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of our products to confidently answer customer enquiries.
- Receive and replenish stock and ensure merchandise is displayed neatly and attractively.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the store throughout the day and at closing.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to create a welcoming shopping environment.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, unpacking and moving stock, and other general store duties as required.

- Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to work flexible weekday shifts.
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the role, including lifting and carrying stock, moving boxes, climbing stairs, and standing for extended periods.

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail role. Applicants should be able to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and carrying boxes, moving stock, climbing stairs, and being on their feet for extended periods throughout the shift.

Pay: From $27.81 per hour
