Casual Medical Receptionist – Warragul Medical Centre

Location: Warragul, VIC

Warragul Medical Centre is a brand-recent medical clinic seeking a friendly, organised, and proactive Medical Receptionist to join our growing team. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an essential role in creating a welcoming, professional, and positive experience for everyone who visits our practice.

Key responsibilities include greeting patients, coordinating appointments, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about healthcare, committed to delivering outstanding customer service, and eager to work within a supportive, close-knit team.

This position is offered on a casual basis with a view to permanent employment, with hours increasing as our client base continues to grow. It is also an ideal opportunity for a school leaver looking to begin a career in administration, providing valuable hands-on experience in a professional healthcare environment.

Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays will be required.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide warm, professional greetings to patients in person and over the phone
- Efficiently schedule and manage appointments and recalls




- Assist with patient enquiries and support both clinical and administrative teams
- Maintain accurate, confidential patient records
- Process payments and Medicare claims
- Perform general administrative duties, including scanning, filing, and stock ordering

What We’re Looking For

- 1 – 2 years’ experience in medical reception (preferred)
- Experience with Best Practice software (preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (essential)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask (essential)
- A friendly, professional, and compassionate attitude (essential)
- Reliability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment (essential)
- Permanent right to work in Australia
