We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join the team at an exciting upmarket café and bar with seated dining in Harcourt. We are a small team,creative freedom,opportunity to develop menu

This is a key role within the business and a great opportunity for someone who loves baking, quality food and presentation.

About the role

- You’ll be responsible for producing a range of high-quality, freshly made café and bakery products while helping us deliver a premium experience for our customers.
- We’re looking for someone confident preparing: Pies and sausage rolls, Muffins, slices and cakes, Danish pastries and other baked goods, Sandwiches and premium grab-and-go items, À la carte café dishes
- Chef experience is essential
- You’ll also have hands-on experience producing fresh breads, including: Sourdough, Vienna loaves, Bread rolls and buns, Artisan breads, Specialty bakery items
- You should be confident with dough preparation, proofing and baking techniques,



with a strong focus on quality and consistency.
- Availability to work Wednesday to Sunday, 6am-2pm

Fulltime role

Salary-$ 70,000 to $ 80,000 depending on experience

About You

You’ll ideally have:

- 1–3+ years of hospitality experience
- Strong chef experience
- Experience with à la carte café food preparation
- Excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance knowledge
- The ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and presentation
- Robust organisation and time-management skills
- A reliable, positive and team-focused attitude
- A genuine passion for baking and quality food
