We are seeking a reliable and organised Kitchen Assistant to manage the secure handling, preparation, and serving of meals within our childcare centre. Meals are delivered daily by KGF, and this role focuses on ensuring food is heated, served and stored correctly while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities

· Receive and check delivered meals from KGF

· Safely heat and prepare meals according to instructions

· Ensure all dietary requirements, allergies and cultural needs are strictly followed.

· Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment.

· Follow food safety standards, including temperature checks and recording keeping.

· Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of Kitchen equipment and surfaces





Qualifications & Experience

- Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
- Kitchen Hand Qualification
- Food Handling Certificate
- Experience in working as a team
- Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis
- Working with Children’s Check
- Desirable- 2 years demonstrated experience
- Desirable - Knowledge of statutory regulations relating to the industry
