Position Information

Willyama High School (enrolment 616, including 143 Aboriginal students) is a comprehensive secondary school located in Broken Hill in Far West NSW. Selection Criteria

1. Approval to teach Hospitality - Food and Beverage, approval to teach Food Technology and approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-.

Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based, explicit teaching practices that effectively engage and develop students with a wide range of abilities, with a strong focus on improving literacy, numeracy and student engagement.

3. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategies that support Aboriginal students’ academic and personal success, ensuring a culturally secure and supportive learning environment.

Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
