We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Crane Truck Driver / Yardperson to join a busy hire operation servicing the civil construction, mining and infrastructure sectors.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys a mix of driving, equipment deliveries and collections, crane operations and yard duties.
About the Role
You will be responsible for:
- Delivering and collecting hire equipment from customer sites
- Operating a truck-mounted crane to load and unload equipment
- Loading and securing equipment safely for transport
- Operating a forklift within the yard
- Assisting with general yard duties and equipment preparation
- Cleaning and carrying out basic maintenance of hire equipment
- Completing pre-starts, delivery dockets, run sheets and other required paperwork
- Maintaining a strong focus on safety and customer service
Skills & Experience
To be successful, you will ideally have:
- Current HR or higher driver’s licence
- Vehicle Loading Crane (CV) licence or higher
- Forklift (LF) licence
- Dogman (DG) licence or higher
- White Card
- Previous experience operating a crane truck
- Experience in civil construction, equipment hire or a similar environment
- Good knowledge of Perth and surrounding areas
- A strong work ethic and reliable attitude
- Commitment to safe work practices
